I am a practicing educator, social worker, and public policy consultant. My policy and advocacy work are grounded in the reality and voices of the youth, family, community, and teacher voices from my direct practice. My direct practice with youth and in my community is contextualized by over two decades of experience advocating for systems change at the Federal, state, and local levels. I am driven by a commitment to equity and justice and a desire to make learning more joyful and relevant for everyone.
